 Hi everyone! Despite the rain I had a pretty fun Book Crawl last night. I met writers from all over Hamilton who gathered on wet Ottawa street to talk about... well writing!

Went to my first Science Fiction and Fantasy convention today: #AdAstra. Guest of honor, Brandon Sanderson stole the show with his ability to explain geeky issues. He had a combination of straight forwardness and charisma. The segment where he read from his novel was hilarious.

The other panels I went to: Crowd Funding, Disrupting Narrative, Fractured Fairy Tales and Beyond the Borders of Magic and Science, which featured Sanderson again.

Pretty action packed for a single day. I didn't even have time to see the dealers tables. Oh well, saved a few bucks there.

So thanks again Ad Asta organizers. My first convention was great.

Google+ Unpredictability Has Good Outcome

Well it seems Google has given me two YouTube and two Google+ pages and linked them.  I don't seem to have a choice in the matter so I've decided I might as well work with what they've given me. Instead of having one YouTube channel for everything I've decided to split everything into two categories.

I will be blogging about creative writing and gaming issues right here.  Any videos I make to go with these articles will be on YouTube/G+ channel, Maple Leaf.  Please let me know if you want to play D&D!
